Last week, Mom bought a new to us car! It’s a Ford Edge. It’s sort of a dark grey. We were hoping for a different color, but it’s better than white! But it’s newer than the last one, which is the most important thing. (Well, the goal of the whole endeavor.) We’re both kind of cautiously optimistic about the whole thing—it’s a lot of new things all at once, and that’s always kind of scary!
I hope you all have a great Christmas and I will talk to you next week.

Mom went to the thrift store today. She usually finds some pretty cool things. This time she found some cool books, a tiny ceramic dog, a tiny piece of a dolly tea set, and another jar of buttons. I think I like the little doggy the best. Mom says that the dog is the right size to live in the dollhouse. He or she will join the bulldog that Mom found a few weeks ago!
Do any of you like to go thrift store shopping? It’s one of Mom’s favorite things to do! She likes St. Vincent’s and Goodwill. Do you have any good thrift stores where you live?

Mom doesn’t really get into the Christmas spirit, but Grandma does—so we have lots of Christmas decorations here. This is one of the little trees. (Mom took this picture during the day, so the lights don’t show up as well as they could.)
Do you like Christmas decorations? I like the lights the most. I’ll share a few more pictures of the other trees later—they’re all very pretty!

I do have a little figure Mom bought me to show you. It’s a Funko Pop keychain Mickey Mouse. I thought it was pretty much a Funko Pop that was my size. I think it’s pretty great!

This Monday, Mom, Oliver, and Caleb went to the mall to meet Santa. The people who take the pictures realize that dogs really don’t want to be in the mall, so it is a really quick process. Oliver especially didn’t like the other dogs—one of them kind of dived at him and it made him very nervous. But they’ve been going since he was a little puppy, so Mom wanted to go again. So here is Mom and Oliver with Santa!
Mom really doesn’t want to be a part of the picture, but there is no way Oliver will stay seated on the bench with Santa unless she sits with them! (He was READY TO GO even in the picture!)
Afterward, Mom went to Burger King for supper, and he got to bark at people in the parking lot as a reward. He seemed to recover pretty quickly, so he must’ve forgiven her!
Do any of you visit Santa? Mom says that maybe when Graham is a little older, Mom can ask him to bring me up to Santa and we all can have our picture taken!

Hello everyone! How are you? I am okay. It’s been pretty cold here lately, so we haven’t done a lot of exploring. It’s a mad dash from the house to the car and back again! Mom says that in the spring, we will think that 22 degree weather is warm, but it’s certainly not now.
At the retail job, Mom discovered that they sell these little tiny cars. They’re some kind of Shopkin, which honestly I think is a bit creepy—I’m not sure if I really want to think that my food container is alive. Mom just likes small things, so we have one now! What do you think? Do any of you collect Shopkins?

I thought I would give you a little puppy picture today. He is also doing his part to make Mom happier. This picture is from a few days ago when Mom’s parents took him for a walk. He had a lot of fun. He loves to sniff things.
I will write more next week. I hope you have a great day!

Mom, Graham, Caleb (in her purse), and her sister went out trick or treating on Sunday! Graham didn’t dress up, but he had a lot of fun.
They walked around for probably an hour or so. He ended up with probably twenty pieces of candy. Have any of you ever went trick or treating? I’ve decided that I have to go next year, even if it’s just in Mom’s backpack!

So last week I had an entry all thought out, but I couldn’t find the picture that Mom had taken. But this week is better!
We were sitting in Mom’s car during her break at work, and we saw something very peculiar! Do you see him or her? There’s a teddy bear in the other car! We’ve never seen a teddy bear like us in the wild like this before! After the owner of the car came out and left, Mom recognized her as possible fellow employee who was talking to someone at the front desk when she walked out! Who would’ve thought!

Grandma got a pretty flower arrangement yesterday, and I thought you’d all like to see a pretty rose. There are five of them. I hope they last for a while!

It has been a pretty quiet week. The trees have been changing. I was going to share a picture, but the picture currently won’t upload to Dropbox. A tree outside of Mom’s not-retail job is a lovely color of orange. I asked her to take a picture of it before we left today. She posted it to Instagram because we thought it was so pretty.
I will try to convince her to fix this tomorrow afternoon, but if we don’t, I’ll share the pretty picture next time!

The leaves are changing now. The trees around our house mostly turn either brown or yellow. I think the changing colors is my favorite part of fall. What is your favorite part of fall?

Mom found this insect at her not-retail job. It is a northern walking-stick. She is pretty far away from home—there aren’t a lot of trees around the building that she works. But isn’t cool? The Wikipedia article and another website Mom found mentioned that the bigger ones are probably the females. I like looking at insects—I don’t need to touch it! What do you all think?

Hello everyone! How are you? I am okay, although Mom is kind of tired. There have been a lot of mosquitoes here in Wisconsin. Mom is getting bites all the time. For a while, they were even inside the house. (Mom thinks that she’s on their territory outside—but inside they ought to leave her alone!)
Mom went shopping the week before last and found something pretty cool! She found THREE of my brethren! She had just decided to stop at the thrift store just because, and it turned out to be a great decision! And they were only $2 a piece! These bears are more my size. Foster and the other bears Mom has found on ebay, are a bit bigger then me. Her mom told her that she had just worn me down enough that I was smaller than Foster, but it turns out that we came in two different sizes!
Mom says she doesn’t know what’s going to happen with the three new bears. She always wants backups in case something terrible happens to Foster or I, so they might go away. She doesn’t want to fall for another bear and worry about something happening to them. But they’re here, and that’s pretty cool.

We did get some pretty flowers. Mom took pictures of them since they won’t last forever.
I think I like the lily the most. Mom went to a thrift store last week and found something that I want to share with you all! I’ll show you next week! I hope you have a great week!

Adelaide and I got to sit outside on the porch with Mom and Oliver today. It was very nice. It was about 70 degrees and nice and sunny. We probably sat out there for two hours before we had to go in for supper. Do you like sitting outside? It’s certainly one of Oliver’s favorite things to do. What do you think?

Yesterday, Mom stopped at Goodwill. She found a bag of boys Build-a-Bear shoes! It’s a sort of crummy picture, and Mom says I look very cranky, but I was focusing on trying to stay upright! The shoes give my ankles enough support to hold the rest of me up. The new shoes came off soon after the picture, but we are going to try again soon. Mom says that she doesn’t remember them being quite so hard to get on, so she might make me some new shoes instead!

This is a common garter snake. Mom and Oliver were walking around the yard and it startled them. After Mom took the picture, it stayed still like it thought that they’d forget that it was there. Oliver didn’t even seem to think it was there at all. (That’s a good thing—Oliver might’ve harassed it until it bit.)

Hello everyone! How are you? It is very humid here in Wisconsin. It makes Mom a very unhappy human, so I have to work extra hard to cheer her up!
She did find these little erasers. They’re animals! I couldn’t imagine actually using these to erase things! I haven’t decided if my favorite is the little giraffe or the elephant.
There was another pack that she bought. I think it’s supposed to be school supplies. I like the stapler, but Mom likes the pencil sharper. Which one is your favorite?

It’s bright yellow. Mom says I could probably glow in the dark! And it has a bulldog on it She also found me a new sweatshirt but it’s too warm for that yet.
What do you think of my new shirt? Talk to you next week!

This is a Holstein calf from the petting zoo. It wasn’t very interested in people. Mom said that being a petting zoo calf would probably be pretty boring.
This donkey, on the other hand, was pretty fond of everyone. (Mom thought it might be because there was a better chance that the donkey was a pet, rather than a farm animal.)
I hope you all have a good week. Talk to you next week!

Mom went to the Outagamie County Fair! She mostly goes to look at all the animals! This is a nubian goat!
I love ducks! Mom took this picture of a runner duck for me! Do you like farm animals? Do you have a favorite? Talk to you next week!

Mom and I are typing up our blog entry kind of late this week. We napped last night, which is the night we usually write up our entry. (I compose, she types!)
We have been watching the food channel on Twitch lately. Twitch is mostly a streaming gaming platform. (Apparently there are a lot of people who like to watch other people play video games.) Mom discovered it for Bob Ross, but that only plays on the weekend. So we follow several ‘always on’ channels to give us something to watch sometimes. (Twitch plays nicely with the VPN on Mom’s ipad. We do turn it off and watchin Netflix too!) Do any of you watch documentaries and instructional TV anywhere else? We’re always on the lookout for new things to watch!
