Adelaide got a present after Christmas. Technically, it started as a present for Mom! When she was a little girl, she wanted the matching girl and doll pajamas for the American Girl dolls. (She wanted the Molly ones!) She didn't get them. This Christmas in the AG catalog, they had matching little girl, adult, and doll Christmas pajamas! But the adult ones were $60, which is a lot to pay for a pair of pajamas. But after Christmas, they were on clearance. So she bought a pair for herself and a pair for Adelaide!
Lark also got a little post-Christmas sale present too. The place that we get the subscription box-- Trillian and Company via Etsy-- had a little post Christmas sale. Mom bought Lark this one because she thought it looked like a Christmas sweater!
Hope you all are having a great week!

Last week, Mom, Shiloh, Adelaide, Mabel, Molly, Lark, Raven, and Wren went to one of Mom's friends' houses for a dolly meetup. They met some new friends!
Do any of you go to meetups? Mom likes going a lot! I've spent the time in the car, but I've never been inside!
Talk to you next week!

Mom took this picture of Lark for her Instagram. She’s having a bit of a pre-bed hot chocolate! I asked Mom to get me a teddy bear sized version!

Lark made herself a little picnic yesterday. I think Mom should take all of us out on a picnic. Have any of you been on a picnic? I don’t know how I’d feel about bugs near my food, but I think I’d like the sun and the breeze!
Talk to you next week!

Mom brought Adelaide, Joaquin, Zola, Ionani, Caleb, Wren, Raven, and Lark inside. Milton, Foster, and I waited in the car. Mom had an okay time. There was a raffle. Mom thought that she had a fair amount of tickets, but that there were a lot of people who had a lot more tickets then she did. But it turned out that she was a lot more lucky then she thought. She won THREE dolls! She even tried to pass on the last one, but they drew her name again!
This is a picture of them while they were still at the doll meetup. Everyone has now gotten used to our dolly-verse, so they've told us their names.
This is Andromeda. She is a SoulDoll/Volks hybrid.
This is Eleanor. She is a Lee Middleton Reva Schick toddler.
And finally this is Ramona. She is a Paola Reina doll. Mom says she doesn't quite know what to do with everybody. But we'll figure something out. I hope you all have a great day!

We've also been doing a little bit of crafting. It's been a very long time since Mom's felt up to crafting, so I'm trying to encourage it. She found some beads at one thrift store, and then some elastic and another, and made some tiny bracelets for Lark, Talia, and Ionani.
She also made a headband for Lark. We watched a video on Youtube by one of the people we follow about making a scrunchie for a doll, so we might try that next. I'll keep you updated!
I hope you have a great day! Talk to you next week!

Today it was Adelaide and our newest 18 inch friend, Joaquin.
Lark goes inside with Caleb. After work, she sits in the cup holder. I think she looks pretty comfy! Do any of you like car rides?
Talk to you next week!

This week Mom brought more of our friends downstairs. She brought all the AG kids, and the Barbie sized crew. She says we will probably have a photo session soon. But today we have two friends helping us with the blog. You've already met Lark, but Talia is new to the blog. Talia is a Liv doll. She is the first doll Mom bought as an adult. She says she paved the way for all the other similarly sized dolls-- and the BJD kids. She has been here since 2010. Only some of my plushie friends and I have been here longer!
I hope you all have a great week. I am hoping for some nice weather so Mom takes us outside for this photography session! Talk to you later!

One of our BJD friends came with us to Mom’s work for the past few days. Lark is little enough that she can fit in Mom’s bag with Caleb. She also has a place to hide, (a pencil bag) so she actually sits on the counter sometimes.
Mom is trying to figure out a way that she can actually sit out on the counter—not hiding in her bag.
A few weeks ago, Mom and one of her friends went to Target. They found a new Lori set for camping. So now the BJD kids have camping supplies. (Although no one’s going camping outside in Wisconsin in January! They’re going to have to be happy with living room camping!)
Talk to you next week. I hope you all have a great week!

Does anyone know of any blogging apps for iOS? Part of the problem was that when Mom finally remembered that we hadn’t posted, she didn’t have enough time to open up the computer and help me type the entry. We tried using the app that we had used in the past, but it wouldn’t log into my account. We then tried two different browsers and it took several tries to get Blogger to load and an editing window to open.
Otherwise, we had an okay week. Mom is back at the embroidery stuff at her not-retail job, and it’s a lot calmer than picking. She also—for the mean time, works until 2, which is nice.
We haven’t found any cool things lately for the AG kids and myself, but she did find a cool set for Lark and the BJD sized kids. Now they have a laptop and a cell phone! I hope she finds one our size soon!
Talk to you next week!

Mom thought World Doll Day was on the 13th, but it turned out to be on the 9th. She took pictures of a few of my doll friends with the idea that she would post them, but I guess she was too late. I thought I would be nice and volunteer that she could post them on here! I don’t care that they’re late!
This is some of my AG friends. This is Zola, Adelaide, and Shiloh.
And these are my BJD friends. This is Wren, Lark, and Raven. Neither Wren or Raven were keen on the picture taking. Lark had to hold Raven still!
So happy World Doll Day. I will have to remember to help Mom figure out the right day next year so she can post her pictures on the right day!
Hope you have a great week! Talk to you next time!

On Saturday, we received news that a new friend was going to be leaving her manufacturer. She left South Korea on Saturday and made it all the way to Wisconsin via Chicago by Monday!
She is very, very tiny. She is only five centimeters tall. Mom thinks that her name is Hummingbird. We are going to call her Hum. (All of our BJD friends’ names are after birds.)
Lark is already very fond of her. She held her for a long time. She seemed to really like being held. After Hum goes to get her eyes painted, we will take a picture of everyone!
Talk to you next week!

Here it is. Mom says that it has a definite 1970s flair. It came with a bunch of furniture. We had some of our own too.
Mom and the BJD family have decided that it is a cabin. Cabins can be small. (Although Mom says she would hope that they have windows, but alas!)
Mom said that she has to get them some more kitchen stuff (Mostly a sink!)! I’m sure we’ll post more pictures soon. (I wonder if they make a house that’s my size? Maybe AG sized? Hm.) Talk to you next week!

Mom put our miniature garden together last weekend. So now the BJD family has a place to sit outside! We have to buy some stones for the paths, but I really like what we did.
We will probably redo it a hundred times over the summer!
Do any of you like gardening? Mom likes miniature gardening. I like flower gardening!
Talk to you all later!

Lots of people asked about Ash. They did all mention that he’s a bit short, which hurt his feelings a bit!
Mom buys the crochet dresses from the same lady year after year. This time, she got Wren a dress in a darker purple.
It is nice because she remembers Mom and the BJD family. She also had tiny dolls—like made of clay or something like that. When they came dressed, they were out of Mom’s price range, but it turned out that there was a very tiny teddy bear that wasn’t—but she’d already bought the dress. Oh well. There’s always next year!
Are there any gatherings like this in your area? I think it would be grand to go to more things like this. (Mom doesn’t always agree with me on that!) Talk to you next week!

Mom brought some Domos back into our family. They can be rather noisy little guys. Some of them are living on the shelf with the AG minis and the BJD kids. Lark, Wren, and Raven seem to get along with them just fine, but the AG girls really don't know what to make of them. I guess I'd have a hard time understanding what they're all about too if I was really only used to things from the 1860s! Lark is showing them things that she has found online and it seems to be helping.
Today we're going to talk a little about Lark. Mom found Lark on a AG group for people over 18. She was from Madison, Wisconsin. She came from a company named Boy & Girl. She was part of a package that came with another doll. The lady who had her before tried to do her face up but didn't do a very good job. Mom scraped most of it off. Lark came into our family to help take care of Raven. She's sort of a nanny or governess. She helps take care of everyone her size. She has a stuffed cow named Mr. Cow. She would like her own room in the dollhouse (she shares the big room upstairs with Raven), and her own garden!
I hope everyone is having a great spring. I hope it gets nice enough soon that we can plant outside!

Things are pretty much the same around here. Oliver is still a handful! He has grown to his full size, a respectable 15 pounds (about 7 kg). Mom thinks that he might get more muscle, but he hasn’t gotten any bigger in a while.
Mom’s work is still yucky, so that’s why we haven’t posted a lot lately. Mom took a picture of me with her ipad, and I thought that we could share it—and then I talked her into writing up this post!
Mom says that things will change once she gets a different job—and we will post more. She has been fiddling with making a miniature farmyard for the little ones. The shed broke, so now she has to put it back together, but here’s a picture of what it looks like all together.
Sooner or later, there will be more grass, a vegetable plot, and a chicken coop!
I hope you’re all having a good day, and I hope Mom will be in the mood to write more soon!
