Hello everybody! How are you? I am okay, but Mom is tired. It is getting near to Christmas, so everybody is ordering things from the place she works. They have been very busy there. So busy that she actually has to work tomorrow on Saturday there instead of the bookstore!

If you celebrate Thanksgiving, how did it go? Ours was okay. Graham watched TV and Mom carried Pierce around in an attempt to make him happy! I mostly watched TV with Graham. Oliver was pretty stressed out about all the people around-- he is not very fond of changes in his routine!

I hope we can write more next week!

Hello everybody! How are you? I am okay. Mom has had a long week--- it is getting close to the Christmas season where she works, and she is supposed to train the new people who will work in her department for the season. The first two people went well, but this third person isn't going as well. She is a very nice person, but just quite can't figure out the idea of a centered name! But Mom is trying to be a good sport about the whole thing.

Today we will share a picture of Oliver instead. He's pretty good looking, and in a much better mood then Mom is right now!

Hello everybody! How are you? I am okay. I don't have too much to report this week. We have been mostly going to work and then spending the rest of the day reading. It's an okay way to spend your day! It's supposed to be starting to get busy for the Christmas season soon but it hasn't happened yet. (While I don't wish the company any ill, I don't mind that it hasn't happened yet--- it stresses Mom out!)

We have been playing a lot of ball with Oliver. Grandma doesn't like playing ball-- he can get quite obsessive. So after we come home from Mom's work, we play ball.

This was from yesterday! I'm pretty sure that he'd play ball every day if he could!

Hello everybody! How are you? I am okay. We have had a quiet week around here.

We have spent a good part of our spare time siting on the porch with Oliver. He is very persuasive. He likes watching the world go by. He takes his responsibility of a guard dog very seriously. Sometimes we don't know what he is offended by, but we take his word for it. He does not care for people walking the walking path across the road (and across the front yard-- it's quite a distance away), turkeys, chipmunks, squirrels, and when the neighbors themselves are out in their own yard. He gets very loud, but it seems so important to him. I think we should be happy he takes his job so earnestly-- who knows would've snuck in if he hadn't been paying attention!

Hello everybody! How are you? I am okay.  This week has been much quieter than last week! We’ve had electricity all week!

Mom has mostly been working lately, so I don’t have anything to report. I hope we can do something interesting next week. Maybe a trip to the park!

Hello everybody! How are you? I am okay. It is very hot and humid here in Wisconsin. Our WiFi is also being stupid, so Mom says she’s not in the mood to write for too much. 

We do have air conditioning in the house, but there isn’t any at Mom’s job. Oliver approves of the air conditioning inside the house. He actually wants to sit outside, but it’s like he either forgets that it’s so hot or thinks somebody will have done something about it. 

The weather is supposed to cool down next week, so maybe I’ll be able to convince Mom to write a longer entry!

Hello everybody! How are you? I am okay. Mom starts her vacation from the not-retail job on Saturday, so we're kind of excited. We are going to go pick up her sister and nephew on Sunday, and maybe go some other places during the week. (And have lots of naps, because that's what we do when we have lots of time on our hands.) It's going to be nice not to spent so much time in the car waiting for Mom to get out of work. 

Oliver says hi. We have spent a lot of time this week on the porch. After we get home from Mom's work, she takes me and sits on the porch with Oliver for an hour or two. It has been pretty nice outside. Mom has gotten bitten by mosquitoes, but they don't bother Oliver or I!

Hello everybody! How are you? I am okay. Mom has a long week at work, so she wants to keep this short. I wish I could type on a touchscreen, but I haven’t figured out a way yet! 

Mom took Oliver and the rest of us out to dinner a few days ago. Oliver seemed to really like it. Mom was reading on her iPad, and he crawled right on her lap! I guess it makes it easier to take a picture of him. I like going for car rides. I’ll ask Mom to take a picture of me the next time we go out. We can both read then!

Hello everyone! How are you? I’m okay. Mom got moved back to a quieter place at her not-retail job, so she’s been a lot calmer. She’s just not suited for loud places!
This Monday, Mom, Oliver, and Caleb went to the mall to meet Santa. The people who take the pictures realize that dogs really don’t want to be in the mall, so it is a really quick process. Oliver especially didn’t like the other dogs—one of them kind of dived at him and it made him very nervous. But they’ve been going since he was a little puppy, so Mom wanted to go again. So here is Mom and Oliver with Santa!

Mom really doesn’t want to be a part of the picture, but there is no way Oliver will stay seated on the bench with Santa unless she sits with them! (He was READY TO GO even in the picture!)
Afterward, Mom went to Burger King for supper, and he got to bark at people in the parking lot as a reward. He seemed to recover pretty quickly, so he must’ve forgiven her!
Do any of you visit Santa? Mom says that maybe when Graham is a little older, Mom can ask him to bring me up to Santa and we all can have our picture taken!

Hello everyone! How are you? I am fine, but Mom had a bad day at work, so we are going to go to bed soon. I am doing my best to keep her happy, and a good night’s sleep will help!

I thought I would give you a little puppy picture today. He is also doing his part to make Mom happier. This picture is from a few days ago when Mom’s parents took him for a walk. He had a lot of fun. He loves to sniff things.

Hello everyone! I hope you’re all having a great week! It’s been pretty hot and humid here in Wisconsin. There has been a lot of mosquitos too, which doesn’t bother me as much as it bothers Mom. (It doesn’t seem to bother Graham or Oliver either, so I don’t know what she’s going on about!)

Last week, Mom had off for her vacation. Oliver, Mom, and I spent a lot of time together.

On Monday, Graham came over, and they went for a walk. (I stayed on the porch in the shade!) Graham brought his new plush elephant with them on the walk. (Mom ended up having to carry it in the end.) Graham is very fond of elephants.
What do you do on your vacation? Mom didn’t want to go away because then she would have to leave Oliver and Graham behind. Do you have any favorite vacation spots near your home?

Hello everyone! How are you? I am okay. Mom’s parents have been on vacation for the past few days. Mom feels okay about leaving Milton, Foster, and I at home so we don’t have to spend the day in the car in the cold. I’m glad to be warm, but I miss Mom.

It’s been nice here in Wisconsin. It’s sort of unseasonably warm. It was 45 degrees Fahrenheit today (which is 7 degrees Celsius for the rest of the world.) It’s usually subzero at this point in winter around here.

Oliver has discovered his squeaky ball. Grandma hides it from him because he can be very persistent about playing. Mom doesn’t seem to mind, so she lets him have it. (That little bit of brown fur on the bottom of the picture is me! Mom was holding me when she took the picture!)

Mom fell asleep last night before we could type up the post I had thought up. She has to go to work now (We prepare our posts beforehand!), so I agreed we would just type up a short one. She gets home before this will post now, so I’ll try to remember to rewrite when we get home.

Puppy picture to make up for the mistake!
So Mom got sent home early today, so we have some time to write an entry. I think the puppy picture is going to stay because he’s cute.
How are you? I’m okay. Mom’s schedule at work has been changed to more but shorter shifts. That means we don’t have to be there as long, but she doesn’t have a whole day off. Along with the bookstore, that’s a lot of working.
This weekend, we are going to go to Mom’s sister’s house and spend some time with the nephew. It will be something different then all the working!

Hello everyone! How are you? How was your holidays? Everything was pretty quiet around here. We mostly just read and watched things on Netflix or Amazon Prime!

Mom has a cold. She actually has lost her voice! It doesn’t stop her from being able to type, obviously, but it stops her from staying up late! More next week!

Hello everybody! How are you? How was your Christmas? It was pretty calm around here. Oliver and Graham had a good time, and that’s the most important part!

Oliver got another stuffed alligator, some treats, and a blanket. This is the third alligator he has gotten. He is very hard on his toys. These alligators have lasted the longest of any of his toys. They might last an entire month, rather than a few days—or even hours!

Mom got a blanket and a pillow with a Boston terrier on it that looks a lot like Oliver. What did you all get for Christmas? Mom bought me some clothes with dinosaurs on them. Mom needs to go to bed, so we will take a picture and post next week! I hope you all have a great week!

Hello everyone! How are you? Mom and I are all right. Mom didn’t hurt herself this week (yet, she says) at the not-retail job, so we’re considering that a big win! I’m writing this on Wednesday because we have to drive Mom’s sister and the nephew home tomorrow!
We have been listening to audio books on the drive to and from the not-retail job lately. Have any of you listened to any? Mom has had a few audio books of her favorite titles for a while, but she recently started to use Audible and some of the audio books that she bought with the corresponding ebook. I picked out a book called Uncommon Carriers by John McPhee. It is a book about the transportation industry. I picked it because I like trains and ships. Next up is a Dutch language learning audio book that we picked out on Hoopla. It has music and spoken word, so I don’t know how I feel about that! Do any of you have any sites you go to for audio books? We’re thinking of going to Audible, but Mom thinks we ought to stick to the library and Hoopla.

Since I can’t post without a picture of something, we’re going to end this post with a picture of Oliver! He is currently sleeping at the end of the bed. Mom says we ought to join him asleep! Have a great week!

Hello everyone! How are you? I am okay. Mom pinched her finger in her embroidery machine today, so we are going to keep this entry a bit short. Her finger is all wrapped up, and it doesn’t hurt so much any more. She says it’s mostly just some funny colors!

I went inside to Mom’s work for two days this week. I hide in her backpack. I have her ipad, and I play all day long. I also take naps. She says I am very good moral support, even just from her backpack.

With the new temporary position, Mom gets out of work at 2. It gives her some Graham time on every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. In this picture, Graham, Mom, and Oliver were discussing the playing attributes of doggy kibble. Graham thought that dropping it on the ground made a great noise, and Oliver thought that picking it up after Graham was fun. (Mom was in charge of making sure that Graham didn’t put all of the doggy kibble on the ground!) Graham’s sweatshirt has teddy bears on it!

Hello everyone! Mom’s not-retail job gave her a fidget spinner for Halloween!  She left it in the car so we could play with it while we wait for her.
Mom recorded a short video for her instagram page. I wanted to share it here so I could have a nifty video for this entry, but Mom can’t figure out a way to make Live Writer embed it properly. She uploaded it to YouTube too. Sigh.
Otherwise, things have been pretty quiet. We didn’t do anything for Halloween, which disappointed me some. Did any of you do anything for Halloween? We live out in the country—well, in a more rural area, and our driveway is pretty long. We haven’t had trick-or-treaters in a very long time. Mom says there aren’t any sidewalks to walk on, so it’s not very safe to come down our road. (There’s also a subdivision on the other side of the road. Mom says people probably go there.)

Since I couldn’t figure out a way to upload the video, here is a picture of Oliver instead! (Pictures of Oliver make Mom happy!) Talk to you next week!

Hello everyone! How are you? I’m okay. Mom changed departments at her not-retail job. She is back in embroidery. She doesn’t get to come outside on her lunch break any more. (Because it is only fifteen minutes instead of an half hour!) I miss the extra time with her. She does get out earlier though, which is kind of nice.

It was rather cold and rainy today. (This is what it looks like at 5:30 in the morning when Mom is waiting to go into work.) Mom says that in January, we will think that these temperatures are warm. (I know this happens every year!) For those of our friends who are entering into fall, has it gotten colder where you live? (Mom explained to me that not everyone’s going into fall—some people are going into spring!)

Otherwise, things have been pretty quiet around here. Mom bought some more rement and books. She says that she wants to buy me some new clothes, but hasn’t gone to the right store lately. We spent Wednesday with Graham. He loves to walk, so we walk around the property. Oliver likes it too!

Hello everyone! How are you? We’re okay here. I’m very glad to be living in Wisconsin where there aren’t any hurricanes or rain from hurricanes. It rains plenty here, but not that much! (We get tornados and blizzards, although not at the same time.)
Mom discovered yesterday that one of her favorite internet dogs passed away. His name was Chet Baker, and he was the reason that Mom fell in love with Boston terriers.
So in order to make her feel a bit better, I thought we would post some pictures of Oliver. He’s Mom’s buddy like I am.

He’s a lot louder then me though. Mom says that Oliver likes to make his opinion known. Loudly. Often.

But he’s a pretty good dog, and doesn’t hurt my friends and I. I know there are a lot of dogs who will hurt any plushie—Oliver somehow realizes which ones are Mom’s and which ones are his.
