Mom went to the thrift store today. She usually finds some pretty cool things. This time she found some cool books, a tiny ceramic dog, a tiny piece of a dolly tea set, and another jar of buttons. I think I like the little doggy the best. Mom says that the dog is the right size to live in the dollhouse. He or she will join the bulldog that Mom found a few weeks ago!
Do any of you like to go thrift store shopping? It’s one of Mom’s favorite things to do! She likes St. Vincent’s and Goodwill. Do you have any good thrift stores where you live?

Cute little doggie! We don't have Goodwill over here but... we like to go to Sally Ann... and Hospice... and a few local thrift stores. Of course there is always the VV Boutique but we find Value Village is getting rather $$$ these days.
ReplyDeleteWe have a thrift store near us; you can donate stuff and the profits help benefit veterans. We've donated quite a few things, but also found some fun things. We found some great milk glass vases, but we put little tea light candles in them, and they look great at night lined up along a window.
