Hello everybody! How are you? I am okay. We have had a quiet week. Mom spent Thursday at a park. Her not-retail job has a gathering once a year. It rained for most of the afternoon, but it was nice at the end.
It was near the lake. It was really pretty. There were a lot of oak trees.
There were a lot of ducks. It's getting to be fall in Wisconsin, so they're flocking!
This was Mom's favorite picture! I hope you guys have a great week! Talk to you soon!

Hello everyone! How are you? I am okay. It’s definitely fall in Wisconsin, so things are a bit chilly.
So last week I had an entry all thought out, but I couldn’t find the picture that Mom had taken. But this week is better!

We were sitting in Mom’s car during her break at work, and we saw something very peculiar! Do you see him or her? There’s a teddy bear in the other car! We’ve never seen a teddy bear like us in the wild like this before! After the owner of the car came out and left, Mom recognized her as possible fellow employee who was talking to someone at the front desk when she walked out! Who would’ve thought!
Talk to you next week!

Hello everyone! How are you? I am okay. Mom spent all afternoon at a nearby park for something called Team Member Appreciation Day. It was a very pretty day. There was a zoo there—it’s a tiny zoo, but there were some pretty cute animals there!

This is a very pregnant Sicilian donkey. She came and said hi to Mom.

This llama seemed to enjoy getting his picture taken. He even let Mom take a picture of his other side!
I might post a few more pictures next week, but that’s a good start. I hope you all are having a great week, and I will see you later!

Mom and Caleb went to a park in Oshkosh for one of Mom’s work things. It had a little zoo!

Mom’s sister works for the same company, so they wandered around together! It was sort of raining, but not too bad. I think some of the animals didn’t like the rain.

Look at this fine fellow. He talked to the little kids that were in the park. They gobbled right back at him.

Mom’s brother-in-law brought Graham. (He had to pick Sam up anyways!) He didn’t really seem to be interested in the animals, just walking around and playing in the mud!

Mom was hoping for a petting zoo, but there wasn’t one. The corn feeding dispensers were empty near the animals too.
We love animals, so this was kind of fun. Mom even got paid to hang out! She says that she’ll take the rest of us someday! I would like to look at the lake.
Have any of you been to a zoo? I think I would like to go!

It’s been a pretty quiet week around here. But the apple trees in the front yard have been blossoming!

Mom also bought some plants for her miniature garden this week, so we’ll have some pictures of that too soon!
We watched the nephew this week. Mom’s mom—had an appointment, so we were left with baby-sitting duty! He’s almost 17 months old now, so I guess it’s more of a toddler sitting. We went to see his mom for lunch. We were early, so we all went for a walk. (I stayed in the bottom of the stroller!)

Mom says that she really can’t go places that will allow Oliver without him, so Oliver came with too.

He was a very happy dog! There were plenty of things to smell. He got to bark at lots of people too.

This is a view of the Fox River. The drawbridge was up for a bit while we were walking, so Mom took a picture.
Mom has to go to work in the morning, so she says that it is time to go to bed. (We write this earlier in the week!) Sometimes, she’s not any fun! But alas—it’s part of having a Mom!

Good afternoon, everybody! How are you? Things around here have been pretty quiet! Mom has been working a lot this week. It was four days in a row—and that usually doesn’t happen. But now she’s on VACATION! Woot!

We’ve had a new friend move in. This is Hank. He is an octopus! (Mom says that he’s actually a septopus, because he only has seven arms.) He looks kind of cranky, but he seems to be a nice guy.

Mom and Caleb recently went to this exhibit. It was at the Paine Art Museum. There was a large room with about twenty or thirty prints. They were prints from Audubon’s time. They were very pretty. Mom especially liked the turkey one. Caleb liked the one with the ruby-throated hummingbird. In another room, there was a TV playing a PBS documentary about Audubon and his life. There was some modern reproductions of the prints there, including the pink flamingo. Mom and her friend wandered around the inside of the museum.
They walked around the outside of the garden when they were walking back to the car. The museum has a garden around it. There was a pond. Mom likes ponds because they sometimes hold koi. This one was empty, but it was still very pretty!

There was a hedge nearby that was covered in roses. It was very pink and very pretty.

Since the flowers weren’t for picking, Mom took a picture of one instead!

We’ve also been spending a lot of time with Graham. He likes to lie on the ground and kick and talk. Oliver is very fond of Graham, so we spend a lot of time on the ground with him too!

I hope you all have a great week! Mom and I are going to do some great things! Talk to you later!
