Oliver, the dog, really likes sitting outside on the porch. He likes to look around and guard his territory.
I like to sit on the porch and watch the birds. Sometimes I see blue jays. They’re one of my favorite birds. They are very smart. Do you like any birds? We get all sorts of birds around our house. Mom’s parents really like feeding the birds, so it encourages them to come and eat!
Mom bought me a new shirt. The old BAB one got too old looking for her tastes! You really can’t tell, but this one has dinosaurs on it!

It has been beary hot here! When it's so hot, we like to stay inside (thank goodness there is air conditioning). Our favorite birds are the cardinals and chickadees. We are finally starting to see blue jays again; there was some kind of disease that killed many off a few years ago, but they are slowing coming back. We also have some woodpeckers--but we here them more than see them.
ReplyDeleteWe get all sorts of birds in our back yard - they like the fountain and have lots of squabbles over who gets to bathe first. Sometimes there are 5 chickadees lined up waiting for a bath! Lots of hummingbirds, flickers, wood doves, crows (of course), sparrows, chickadees and... up the street we sometimes see families of quail running around.
