So we came up with one more thing. Geography—well, the geography of our little family at least. Mom is from Wisconsin. She has lived here her entire life. We live in an area called the Fox Valley. It has been settled for a long time. Native Americans settled around here as early as 7000 BC! (Mom’s ancestors arrived here in the late 1800s and 1900s.)
Mom says that I am from China. We’re not sure exactly where in China though. Her mom found me after I was brought to the United States. China is a very interesting place. There have been human like creatures there since anywhere from 250,000 to 2.24 million years ago! (We’re not so sure about stuffed bears!)

ReplyDeleteI was born in the Chilterns, a range of hills that run through Oxfordshire and surrounding counties. That makes me a very English bear by birth, but I've lived in Scotland and Wales too.
Most of my brothers and sisters are English, some from the Ironbridge area, some more from the Chilterns and some from the valley of the River Chad. Two are from China originally, like you.
I like maps and globes. Do you?
