March 23rd, 2012

Things have been pretty quiet around here. Mom had a bad day at work, so we decided that she ought to help me write in my blog. We always talk about happy things here! I think we should talk about favorite TV shows!

After Mom came home from her bad day at work, we watched a TV show called Dinosaur Train. Mom likes it because it reminds her of one of her friend’s nephew’s. I like it because it has two of my favorite things in it, dinosaurs and trains!

When my mom was a kid, one of her favorite shows was Sheri Lewis and Lamb Chop’s Play Along. One of the reasons Mom liked it so much was the addictive song at the end!

Mom says that she doesn’t really remember anything about the TV show itself, but another of her favorite shows as a kid was Sharon, Lois & Bram’s Elephant Show. One thing she still remembers is the end!

Are there any children’s shows that you remember? Or any that are your favorite now?

Oh—Mom says that I ought to tell Buttons that if Build-a-Bear clothes fit you, when Mom gets to making me an outfit, if you want, she can make you one too—have any wants? She just uses fabric—she can’t knit or crochet!

Hope you are all having a good day!

I too love this cartoon: it happening right now from time to time on French TV.
Children love it because like you they love dinosaurs and trains!
At the library where I work are the two topics that we are asked the most! When I was a little girl, I loved a short animated film "Saturnin". The hero was a REAL duckling who happened adventurous ... (looking on Youtube, you'll find episodes ...)

    A bientôt !

  2. Mom says she remembers show like Romper Room and Captain Kangaroo. She also told me I shouldn't tell everyone that, because it tells everyone how OLD she is!

Wow, what a generous offer. I do fit in some Build-a-Bear clothes even though I'm not one. Maybe she could just make two of what she is making you and we could be twins ;0)

I can't say I remember any kid shows growing up, but I think I love Dinosaur Train now that you showed me the intro. How cute!!

Also, Marlowe, are you a Build a Bear? Build a Bear clothes fit you? Hmmm.... I might have some presents for you, fella. You should email me or have your mom contact me on Facebook. Definitely.
