It is very late on the 30th. (Well, at least very late for people and bears that have to be awake at 4 in the morning.) Mom spent the morning and afternoon working and the evening driving her sister home. So we’re all pretty tired.
But yesterday, Mom went shopping at a local thrift store. She found something that she thought you’d all find kind of interesting!
It’s three books in Dutch, in a thrift store, in Wisconsin! Who would’ve thought! There were some other children’s books there that she left. She picked the top one because the back said it was a Dutch bestseller (Lulu Wang), and the bottom two because she recognized the names. She googled them, because she didn’t recognize which Baldacci or Grisham books they could be. (Frankly, she could translate the first one, but the second one was out of her vocabulary.) It turns out that the Grisham is Bleachers and the Baldacci is Simple Genius! Mom did read Bleachers when it first came out, but not the Baldacci. (She’s honestly not much of a fiction reader any more.)
So when Mom feels up to reading an adult book in print, in Dutch, we have choices. (We’re going to try some classics on the ipad first!)
Time to go to bed!

Spring has finally arrived here in Wisconsin. It really hasn’t been very warm, but it has been sunny and the plants have been waking up. (Although after Mom typed that for me, we looked up the weather for the upcoming week, and it’s supposed to be gray and rainy all week. Sigh.)
Mom’s parents are back home, so we all have to go back upstairs. Mom took Adelaide, Moira, Imogen and I to work for a few days this week. We sat in the car while she did the work, but it was a nice change of pace!
I’ve been watching Mom work on her genealogy for most of the day. She is currently working on some families that lived in Virginia and West Virginia in the 1800s. They lived in the same area as the Hatfields and the McCoys! They also lived in the same area as Davy Crockett’s family! (Technically, Mom is slightly related to Davy Crockett through these people!)
We have to go to bed soon. We’re writing this a few days before it posts so Mom doesn’t forget. But it is almost time for bed. I’m still pretty awake, but Mom has to sleep, so we all do!

Hallo iedereen! Hoe gaat het? Everything’s all right, for the most part around here. Mom’s parents are on their vacation this week, so it’s just Mom, Oliver, and the rest of us. It’s nice and quiet, and we all get to be downstairs. It’s a nice change of scenery for most of our hug. They usually have to stay upstairs, so being downstairs is something different!
It is St Patrick’s Day here in the US. It’s more of an excuse to party then anything religious for most of the people of Wisconsin. We live near the town of New London, which changes it’s name to New Dublin for the week. Mom has never went to the festival, but maybe some day. She is a tiny bit Irish, so I think she should go!
I hope you all have a great day! Talk to you later!

Hallo everyone! How has your week been? Things have been pretty quiet around here.
Mom said that we couldn’t afford a new TV for the bigger kids, but she gave me something that is pretty close—her old phone!
It doesn’t get any cell phone service, but it works just fine on our wifi! So now we can watch our own Netflix choices! Foster, Milton, Caleb and I were watching Netflix for a while, and then some of our AG friends came to see what we were doing.
Sometimes, human fingers, even if they’re doll sized ones, help, so Shiloh, Adelaide and Mercedes helped us with the apps.
We ended up deciding to listen to some music instead because we all couldn’t see the screen at the same time. We listened to it for a whole hour! I think I like the phone almost better than the idea of a TV! What do you think?
Talk to you next week!

Good afternoon, everybody! Mom bought the BJDs a new TV this week!
It’s gotten us bigger folk around here wanting our own TV! My teddy bear friends and I are the same size as the AG kids, so we were thinking of talking Mom into buying all of us the AG TV. They made one for MaryEllen too. We just googled it to come up with the links, and there’s even an Etsy link to make a TV! This one is from Target. We haven’t heard of the Lundby brand though. (Although at that price, it might not matter too much! Hm.. Clicking through to the Lundby brand page on Target makes me think it might be a BJD sized thing.)
Do any of you have your own TV? I’d like our own TV so we could chose what to watch! I don’t mind watching Mom’s shows, but it would be nice to pick out something by myself!
Talk to you all later!
