Good afternoon, everybody! Things have been pretty quiet around here. I’ve been encouraging Mom to stop checking Facebook all the time due to the current political situation around here. (It just depresses her.) She still checks it once or twice a day—but I’m trying to discourage it all the time! We will see now that goes! (We check Instagram instead!)
Mom bought all sorts of miniature stuff for our future dollhouse earlier this week. Michaels, a chain craft store, had some new miniature stuff in their advertisement, and she just had to go and check it out!
It’s a pelican! Mom, who is a stickler for scale, has decided that it’s a juvenile pelican, because it is too small to be a full sized one. They are very big birds! (I fell into the Wikipedia trap there for a bit—now I know that pelicans have been found in rocks that are 30 million years old!)
And then a pair of mallard ducks! Mom bought these because the one in the foreground is a girl mallard—and it actually has the blue wing feathers! (Wikipedia says they are speculum feathers!) Mallards in crafty things are almost always boys. (They have flashy heads.)
Do any of you have any miniature things you like? Mom loves miniature things, so I love them too! Talk to you all later!

Hello! How are you all? We’re all right here in Wisconsin. Mom visited eBay this week and bought Caleb some new clothes. One of the outfits is a new version of his dinosaur t-shirt, but the second one is brand new. It is a bright green sweatshirt with the words ‘rawr’ on it.
I wish it came in my size! I love dinosaurs, and I think it’s very dinosaur-ish! The hood is too big for Caleb. (Smallfrys/Buddies have big heads!) Mom did buy Foster and I some new shirts though, so I shouldn’t complain.
We both happen to fit infant size three months, so when they go on clearance, Mom almost always buys us a new shirt. (We still really like Build-a-Bear, but they seem not to keep pretty as long as baby clothes.)
See—more dinosaurs! Mom says it is time to go to bed. She has to work in the morning! Talk to you all later!

Happy Friday the 13th, everyone! How are you? Mom caught a cold, so along with working all the hours, we are kind of under the weather now.
So one of the movies that we like to watch is Mystery Science Theater 3000: the Movie. We were excited to see that they were going to bring it back, and backed it on Kickstarter. We received a part of our backer kit this week. The t-shirt and the postcards arrived! I’m so excited!
There is a great t-shirt that is unfortunately just human sized and not bear. It is currently Mom’s favorite part.
Have you backed anything on Kickstarter? We have backed a series of boy 18 inch dolls, and a book called Dressing Your Baby Octopus.
Have a great day!

This is going to be a short entry. Mom was reassigned to the picking part of Silver Star, and it is a lot of walking and walking and walking and walking. Mom’s feet have always been very picky, and this is not agreeing with them. We are writing this the day before because on the sixth, Mom has to work at SSB all day and then the bookstore all night.
Mom found this at an antique mall. It’s a tiny Dutch tile. I’m not sure what it is supposed to be for, but it’s going to go in the dollhouse. Mom thinks it’s screen printed rather than painted, but it only cost one dollar! Does anyone know if the flower/decorative things in the corners mean anything?
I hope that Mom will feel up to more of an entry next week! Hope you’re all having a great day!
