Yesterday, we had all sorts of fun! Mom took me outside so I could help her with some chores. We first picked up some branches that the wind had tossed around.

I tried to climb a tree, but it was too scary. Mom had to help me down.

Then we went for a walk in the back property. Mom showed me this big rock. It’s twice as tall as I am!

Then we went back inside. Everyone was waiting for me. We watched some TV! It was a great day!

It’s been pretty quiet around here lately. Mom has been spending a lot of time at work, so we’ve been left to our own devices. She only has one more day left though. She promises us that we will go someplace cool when she is free from work. We’re thinking of going to the park. It all depends on what kind of weather it is. If it’s too cold, we’ll have to settle for just going outside for a while. But it’ll all be fun!

Mom brought home a new friend today. Well, he's a new pet. His name is Shakespeare, and he's a little gecko.

At first, I was scared of him, but then Mom showed me how nice and soft he was. Now he's my friend!

Happy New Year! It's 2006! Wahoo! In celebration of the holiday, we decided to have a reading party. It's part sleepover, part reading marathon. Mom took a picture of us during Robert McCloskey's Make Way for Ducklings! We have plenty of books to keep us busy! Or at least until we fall asleep!

Sorry, we were too busy to post the last couple of days. We've been busy helping with all sorts of different Christmas things.

We hope you had a good Christmas. We did. Mom made me a sweater, Eva and Chloe new dresses, and bought presents for Robinson and Charlotte. Mom got a brand new digital camera. She's taken lots of pictures of us.

Hope you all had a merry Christmas and have a great New Year!

Mom was home the whole day today. We've spent the last hour or so playing computer games. I'm helping her here. I love playing computer games, but sometimes I have trouble using the mouse! I don't have a thumb to hold it well. But Mom helps me most of the time.

Things have been very busy around here. We've been preparing for Christmas. I helped Mom decorate the Christmas trees, and Chloe and Charlotte have been helping Mom make cookies! It's all been very fun. This is Eva's first Christmas with a family, and she's been carefully watching. I'm sure that she's going to have lots of fun.

I found a new website to share with you. It's a website by some people who make bears for a living. They're awfully nice looking bears! It's called Bears by Beesley.
