Hello everybody! How are you? I am okay. Mom and Oliver went to Shiocton this week to see the sturgeon (Acipenser fulvescens). They happened to be there when the WDNR were catching a very big female fish for her eggs. Mom had never seen a sturgeon up that close before-- well, out of the water at all.

After they took her out of the water, they laid her down on a mat near the edge. They seemed to keep her out of the water for a long time. I guess she was a very big fish so she could stay out of the water for longer then you'd think. They measured her and she ended up being 177 inches or almost 500 centimeters long. I wonder how old she was? The only way you can age a fish is to look at their ear bones, and they need to be dead for that, so who knows! She had to be pretty old to be that big though!

I hope you all have a great day! Talk to you later!

Hello everybody! How are you? I am okay. Mom has been pretty tired lately. She's been spending a lot of time at work dealing with all the Easter presents. She's been putting names on bunny ears and on basket liners. But Thursday was the last day that they could ship anything and make sure it would make it there before Easter, so it's over with.

Mom is in charge of buying presents for the nephew's Easter basket. She says that she got a bit carried away! Instead of candy, Mom buys Graham lots and lots of books! Books are much better for you than candy. What do you do to celebrate Easter? Mom's sister and nephew are going to come over and we're going to have supper. If it's a nice day, Mom and Graham will probably go out for a walk. I think it's a nice way to spend Easter. What do you think?

Hello everybody! How are you? Winter has made a little return to Wisconsin this week. It was 60 degrees F on Monday, and it sleeted and snowed on Thursday. Sometimes the weather in Wisconsin can't make up it's mind. I'd much rather just keep spring around!

Mom made some tiny magazines for my BJD friends. It's another crafting thing. She took the pictures off the subscription cards that come inside magazines, pasted them to card stock, and then folded them. Wren was the first one to get some. She likes crafting, so Mom made some crafting magazines for her. I'm not quite sure how she'd make some that are more my size-- I guess we could just take a picture of the magazine, make it the correct size, and then print it off? Hm.. I'll have to think about it!

Talk to you next week!

Hello everybody! How are you? I am okay. We have had a quiet week here. Mom's job has been pretty busy. The company she works for sells Easter stuffed animals and baskets that have kids' names on them. There are a lot of people who seem to want them, so she's been working pretty hard on that.

We've also been doing a little bit of crafting. It's been a very long time since Mom's felt up to crafting, so I'm trying to encourage it. She found some beads at one thrift store, and then some elastic and another, and made some tiny bracelets for Lark, Talia, and Ionani.

She also made a headband for Lark. We watched a video on Youtube by one of the people we follow about making a scrunchie for a doll, so we might try that next. I'll keep you updated!

I hope you have a great day! Talk to you next week!
