Hello everyone! How are you? I am okay. We have had a very quiet week. Mom has worked most of the week, and Milton, Foster, and I have spent the day inside the house. We’re going to go to work with her again starting today.

Mom invited a new friend home this week. His name is Joaquin. He is Adelaide’s cousin.

I’m happy that’s there’s another boy here. (If you’ve noticed, there are a lot of girls here!)
Have a great week!

Hello everyone! How are you? I am okay. Mom’s parents have been on vacation for the past few days. Mom feels okay about leaving Milton, Foster, and I at home so we don’t have to spend the day in the car in the cold. I’m glad to be warm, but I miss Mom.

It’s been nice here in Wisconsin. It’s sort of unseasonably warm. It was 45 degrees Fahrenheit today (which is 7 degrees Celsius for the rest of the world.) It’s usually subzero at this point in winter around here.

Oliver has discovered his squeaky ball. Grandma hides it from him because he can be very persistent about playing. Mom doesn’t seem to mind, so she lets him have it. (That little bit of brown fur on the bottom of the picture is me! Mom was holding me when she took the picture!)
I hope you all have a great week. I’m hoping for more spring-like weather!

Hello everyone! How are you? I am okay. We have had another quiet week. Mom bought me a surprise this week while she was at the retail job.

She says we can pick out some seeds! It’s been rather cold here in Wisconsin, so ordering seeds will make me feel like spring will come soon! What kind of seeds would you order?
Talk to you next week!

Hello everybody! How are you? I’m okay. It’s very cold here in Wisconsin. I’m glad that Mom doesn’t work such long shifts any more. I might be a bear, but there’s only so much cold I can take!

Today is Groundhog Day. It turns out that it’s from the Pennsylvania Dutch, who are actually German! Apparently, it comes from a German tradition with a badger.
Mom has seen a groundhog at a zoo, but never in the wild. It’s probably a good thing though—I don’t think Mom’s parents would like a groundhog living on their property!
I hope it’s cloudy in Pennsylvania, so they forecast an early spring!
