It was near the lake. It was really pretty. There were a lot of oak trees.
There were a lot of ducks. It's getting to be fall in Wisconsin, so they're flocking!
This was Mom's favorite picture! I hope you guys have a great week! Talk to you soon!

Mom’s sister works for the same company, so they wandered around together! It was sort of raining, but not too bad. I think some of the animals didn’t like the rain.
Look at this fine fellow. He talked to the little kids that were in the park. They gobbled right back at him.
Mom’s brother-in-law brought Graham. (He had to pick Sam up anyways!) He didn’t really seem to be interested in the animals, just walking around and playing in the mud!
Mom was hoping for a petting zoo, but there wasn’t one. The corn feeding dispensers were empty near the animals too.
We love animals, so this was kind of fun. Mom even got paid to hang out! She says that she’ll take the rest of us someday! I would like to look at the lake.
Have any of you been to a zoo? I think I would like to go!

Yesterday, Mom got out of work early. She got home in time to see Graham for a while. She noticed that Graham was wearing the same shirt as me!
Sorry, I’m looking a bit off in this picture, but he just got done hugging us all. But we’re wearing almost the same outfit! Foster is also wearing a shirt that Graham has too. (This is what happens when your mom buys clothes at the same place as someone else’s Mom.) He is very fond of Mom’s hairbrush, but we don’t know why. But it got him to stay still long enough so we could take a picture together, and that worked for Mom!
This week the temperature here in Wisconsin got to 60 degrees Fahrenheit! It is usually about 29 to 16 degrees! (I looked it up!) That meant that on Wednesday, Graham, Oliver, Mom, and I went for a walk. We ended up going to the park! I stayed in the stroller, but Graham went for a swing! He’s old enough now to sit up in a baby swing!
He lost interest in the swing pretty quickly, but it was still cool. We then walked back home. Mom took some pictures on the way back.
It’s supposed to snow this weekend, so the unseasonably warm weather will just be a faint memory!
Tot ziens!

A long time ago, my mom found a fellow plushie blog called Buttons’ Because. In an attempt to exchange mail, my mom found out that Buttons and his mom lived in Illinois, which is very near (at least in the plushie world) where we live in Wisconsin.
Fast forward a year or two, and Buttons’ mom announced that they were coming up north for a graduation party! It was located only about a half an hour away from where I live! We quickly agreed to meet!
And here we are! My mom and Buttons’ mom met at a McDonalds, had a little breakfast, and then went to a local park to take pictures! Don’t we both look really snazzy! It was a beautiful day!
Caleb and Scruffy decided that they also wanted their picture taken. I like their matching Chicago White Soxs hats! Maybe I ought to get Mom to make Caleb and I some matching hats!
We went for a little walk. Buttons’ Mom found some really cool boulders to let us climb on. For a bear who spends most of his time either on the bed, on the couch, or in his mom’s arms, the climbing was really cool! I told Mom that she’s got to take me out climbing again real soon!
I liked being outside! Mom lets me go outside on the porch all the time, but it was nice to see new things!
Mom and I think we ought to break up the visit into more posts so it doesn’t get too long—but you all get to see all the pictures!

October 2nd, 2010
It took a few days for my mom to remember that we promised to post the photos that we were going to take. It turned out to be even a bigger photograph session then we thought. Mom took me to the park and took me out of her backpack! Granted, there wasn’t a soul around, but this is a big move!
I’m going to admit that I was a little scared. This was the first time I’ve been out of the backpack when she’s been off the property. Considering that I’ve been with her for over six years, this is a big thing! Caleb came with me like he almost always does.
Here I am at the top of the slide. This seemed to be the only bear sized thing I could do.
But it turned out to be a bit too adventurous for a small bear’s first playground visit. That was fast!
So I sat in the swing for a while. This was much more my speed. Meanwhile, Caleb was running around. He wasn’t afraid of anything—being seen by other humans, heights, or even things much bigger them himself.
Mom chased him around a bit and finally got him to come back to the backpack. It was kind of cold so we both climbed back into the safety of the backpack.
So that was my first adventure out in the world off my property. Mom says that we will try for another place someday, although it might not be till next summer. But I am glad that I got to go somewhere like this at all!
These pictures have been a big hit on my Mom’s flickr page. We’re trying to reach out the other plushie photographers!
Have a good day! I hope everything is going well for you all!
