Happy Adoption Day to Oliver!

He may be trouble sometimes, but I’m glad that Mom brought him home!

Last Saturday, Mom and one of her friends went to the Bay Area Porcelain Doll Show. It was more of a meetup for the people of the club, but it was still fun. Mom took Ash, Adelaide, Wren, Raven, and Lark. (Molly went with, but she had to stay in the car with us because Mom couldn’t hold all of them.) Mom bought a new dress for Wren.

Lots of people asked about Ash. They did all mention that he’s a bit short, which hurt his feelings a bit!
Mom buys the crochet dresses from the same lady year after year. This time, she got Wren a dress in a darker purple.

It is nice because she remembers Mom and the BJD family. She also had tiny dolls—like made of clay or something like that. When they came dressed, they were out of Mom’s price range, but it turned out that there was a very tiny teddy bear that wasn’t—but she’d already bought the dress. Oh well. There’s always next year!
Are there any gatherings like this in your area? I think it would be grand to go to more things like this. (Mom doesn’t always agree with me on that!) Talk to you next week!

Mom has to work all day today, and we napped yesterday evening by mistake. So we don't have a regular blog entry for today. I'll fix it tonight!

Mom and I went home after she got done with the second job and promptly fell asleep again. I guess that's what happens when you work so much! She says that we will do better next week.

Hallo iedereen! How is everyone? We’re all right around here. Mom has been working a lot. We also have been in charge of driving her sister and nephew back home on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We really haven’t had any time to do anything interesting. We wake up at 4, go to work at 4:45, get there around 5:30, sit in the parking lot for a while, and then she goes inside to work at 6. Lately, she comes back outside for her lunch break and we chat for a bit. Then she has to go back. She gets out at 3:30, and we drive back home.
So she’s really tired, and it’s sometimes difficult to talk her into going anywhere or doing anything. We do still take pictures for Instagram, so I thought I’d show you one.
We had to spend a few hours sitting on the porch a few days ago. Wisconsin weather was pretty nice, and Oliver insisted that we sit outside! I am going to try to convince Mom to do something interesting this week so we have something to talk about next week!

Good afternoon, everybody! Mom is helping me write on Thursday because she has to work on Friday night. She had to work all day today and then we drove her sister and her nephew home. We got home about twenty minutes ago, so it’s been a long day.
Spring has decided to stay in Wisconsin. Last week the weather forecasters threatened snow, but this week we’ve had temperatures around 45-50 degrees Fahrenheit. Thursday was especially pretty, although it was kind of windy.

Mom also bought some more tiny things. Wren, one of our BJD friends, has decided that she wants to learn how to paint. So Mom bought her some canvases and an easel.
