Mom says that the leaves are actually always this color, but the chlorophyll that makes the leaves green covers it up. So when it's fall, the chlorophyll goes away, making the leaves the pretty (original) colors!

Hello everybody! How are you? I am okay. It has been pretty busy at Mom's work. After we write this, we might just take a nap! It has been getting colder around here. It snowed the past two days! It's still kind of pretty though. I like fall leaves.
Mom says that the leaves are actually always this color, but the chlorophyll that makes the leaves green covers it up. So when it's fall, the chlorophyll goes away, making the leaves the pretty (original) colors!
