So, first Mom and I want to apologize for not being online. It’s sort of a combination of cranky Mom, and stupid computer!
One of the things that happened when I was gone is that Mom finally brought home an American Girl doll. My mom grew up in the 1980s and 1990s, when they first came out. One of the first dolls, Samantha, had the same first name as her little sister. Being a kid, she thought that sooner or later they would come out with one with her name! That never happened, but she became attached to the Molly doll. Her parents never had the money to send for one, so now that she is an adult, she did!
The first girl that she saved from ebay turned out to be a little bit off from her memories of the AG dolls. But we kept her of course, but changed her name. This is Moira!
Some little girl cut her bangs. Mom calls it her appointment with a past hairstylist!
Now Adelaide has a new friend! Mom did end up inviting another AG girl home, but we’ll talk about that next time.
I’ve been very patient with Mom and her AG dolls! It’s important to be patient with Moms!
Talk to you later! We’re going to make a couple of posts and set them up to appear over the next few days!
Glad to see you online again *hugs*
ReplyDeleteBuggy computers can be really annoying.
Yes, I agree with Sullivan! Happy to see you again! G. says that she understands that your Mom wanted to have the doll she dreamed about when she was a little girl. G. wants to buy a Monchichi monkey some day, she wanted that monkey when she was little and if she ever sees an "atch and sketch drawing board (with silversand inside it, red thing with two white buttons to turn and sketch with in the sand) she'll buy that one too! Just because it was a very big wish to have something like that... Hope the new computer will do it's work good so we can see you again a lot :-)!
ReplyDeleteWe have missed your posts, glad to see you back. You are right about patience and moms. Sometimes, they can be as temperamental as computers. Ooops, did I type that out load?
ReplyDeleteMoria's bangs reminded my mom of one of those last minute, night before school pictures haircuts. The ones where the bangs just keep getting shorter and shorter as the cutter is trying to get them straight. ;) Moria still looks pretty.
Hugs to you and your mom.
Welcome back again, I'm very glad to see U and your new posts.
ReplyDeleteMoira is a pretty doll for sure!
